Set up in 1936, India’s first national park – Jim Corbett National Park is named after notable conservationist Jim Corbett.  It is located in Nainital, at the foothills of the Himalayas. A same day trip to Nainital while staying at Corbett will be a plus. Nainital is a popular hill station in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. There are seven lakes in and around , these are Bhimtal, Sattal, Naukuchiatal, Khurpatal, Malwatal, Harishtal and Lokhamtal. Bhimtal is the biggest one. Nainital is the most visited and Sattal is the most beautiful and least visited.
